i noticed
she makes you laugh.
not that i was looking.
and you leaned closer
when she spoke,
which could mean anything,
really.
people lean.
people laugh.
people touch each other’s arms
for no discernible reason.
i have no opinion
about any of this.
i just think
she should probably
stand somewhere else.
