the empty spaces we carved | A Poem About Loss, Memory & Being Remembered
I want you to admit it:
that letting me go
was a wound you gave yourself.
That you feel the empty spaces
we carved into each other,

Say it.
Just once.
Say we existed.

Don’t pretend we were nothing.
You know better.
You were there.
